Marion Gallo and John Galluzzi

At seventeen, fresh out of New York's School of Visual Arts, Brooklyn born John entered the rarefied world of New York's "high society" through the Famous Bachrach Photography Studio where he captured the famous faces of kings and queens, heads of state, socialites and debutantes.

Venturing out on his own, John shot beauty ads for Revlon, Dior and Charles of the Ritz to name a few. His fashion work appeared in British Vogue, Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Essence and Good Housekeeping magazines, to name just a few.

On the West coast, John broadened his scope to include fine art photography and architecture. His clients included The Walt Disney Company, Shape, Grid and Elle Decor magazines.

" I relish the fashion, marvel at the architecture, but I'm intensely drawn to the portraits, the face, the eyes. That's where all the secrets are buried, at the edge of a look, a gaze, an expression."

MARION GALLO, graduate of New York's Pratt Institute, designed for grande dame, Pauline Trigere, and the New York haute couture.
